POEMS

Why poems have to rhyme?

It´s always the same,

I´ve got to write one

And I´ve got so little time...

I can write nothing that rhymes.

Why poems have to rhyme?

I´m very sad,

It´s driving me mad

´Cause I can´t write one.

By Carlos Gutiérrez.

I HATE POEMS

The reason why Ihate poems is

FLYING IN THE SKY

I'm flying in the sky
looking at the people
like a hoverfly.

I'm flying in the sky
and I go very far away
out of the Milky Way.

By
Andrés del Pozo Martín

Plane

If I had a plane,
I would travel everyday.

I would go to a star
Like a rocket in the sky.

But as I don't have a plane,
I'll go in the trilling train.

by Clara Muñoz García

School

I go to school in a cool day

And in the school I play,

About the school I write

A great poem in white.

I don’t like to read

But I like to eat,

I go to my home

In a street of Rome.

by Cristian López.

BASKETBALL

Basketball is fun,

When you are playing, you run.

You can do it under the sun.

You can get to be the best,

But if you can’t ,

At least you can play.

By Daniel Hidalgo Gutiérrez

I LIKE...

I’m going to say to you

the things I like,

and the first of all is

to ride a mountain-bike.

The second is

to swim in a lake,

and, after, in my home

to eat a big cake.

But I don’t like something,

and it’s not very good,

this is to do the homework,

and to go to the school.

FOOTBALL

I like football

And I play in a team,

To be a good player

Is my own dream.

I run along the field

With the ball in my feet.

By Enrique Vargas Guerro.

HOLIDAYS

I like the summer,
I like the sea,
I like eating a lot of meat.

I like Christmas,
I like trees,
In my family there are three!.

by Carmen López

IN AUTUMN

THE LEAVES OF THE TREES FALL,
THE WIND IS COOLER,
FASTER AND STRONGER.

WE, TO GO TO SCHOOL,
GET UP VERY EARLY,
HAVE BREAKFAST VERY QUICKLY,
HAVE A SHOWER AND GET DRESSED.

WE GO BY BUS OR RUN.
IN THE SCHOOL THE CLASS STARTS,
THE CLASSWORK AND THE EXAMS.

BUT THERE ARE ALSO MANY PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:
HALLOWEEN, SAINT´S DAY,
AND IN SPAIN, CONSTITUTION DAY.

I would fly,

But I can not fly .

REMEMBER

I Remember, I Remember

Swimming in the sea,

The whale I see.

I Remember, I Remember

Travelling by car,

I went to the park.

I Remember, I Remember

Flying on a plane,

I caught the rain.

I Remember I Remember

Sailing in the yacht,

I felt a drop.

By Laura de Juan.

I’D LIKE

I´d like to go
to the sea and
look at the red fishes
swimming behind me.

I´d like to go
to the jungle and
see the monkey´s mum
with her son.

I´d like to fly
in the sky and
feel the cuddle
of the wind.

MY CAT By DAVID LOPEZ.

MY CAT IS BEATIFUL
AND OF GRACE IS FULL.
HE CATCHES ALL MICE
THAT IN THE HOUSE ARE.

WHEN HE SEES A CHILD,
HE THINKS HE IS GOING TO DIE,
EXCEPT WITH ME,
BECAUSE HE CUDDLES ME.

WITH MY COUSIN HE IS NICE,
BUT NOT ALL THE TIME.
THAT IS MY CAT,
BROWN AND FAT.

PIPO

Pipo is beautiful,

sweet and charming.

I love him lots,

my heart pumps up.

Its eyes are blue,

small and beautiful. it looks so smart,

it even knows who we are

with its back to us.

It got that name because

it eats sun flower seeds,

which it learned to peel,

and now it even eats

the hard bit of it.

By Nuria Núñez.

LOLO, MY DOG

Lolo is my dog,

He eats a lot,

But he is nice

Like a bus drives.

Lolo is my dog,

He plays a lot,

But he is very heavy

Like a lorry is heavy.

BY RAQUEL

The book

Yesterday I bought a book

but I didn’t take a look

at the brand new book.

Every time I took the book,

it shook and shook

So I couldn’t read the book.

By Sara Gómez.

Rony is nice
He plays with my toys.
Rony is young
But he is no very large.

Rony is funny
He plays all the time.
Rony is always hungry
He always asks for food.

When I cuddle him.
He is my sweet dog
And I love him lots.

A DREAMED WORLD.

I dream with a wonderful world,

A world without wars.

People with no swords

And happily born.

I dream with a wonderful world,

Where all the people laugh,

The children learn to love

In a perfect world.

I dream with a wonderful world,

A world with lovely people.

My dream, I think that is possible

Because I know my world is a wonderful world.

By: Sara Jiménez González.

TOBBY

Tobby is my cat,
He is like a rat,
He likes a mouse
And he lives in my house.

He is small,
He plays with my ball,
He is angry
When he is hungry.

He always rolls
Like my ball,
He likes to eat
A lot of meat.

I love my cat
Because he isn´t very fat,
I love him
When he plays in my gym.

WEEK END

On Friday I am very happy,
Week-end comes!!!.
When I finish school
I go to my village to play with friends.

On Saturday I get up at eight,
And I spend the morning playing,
But in the afternoon I study until late.

On Sunday I go swimming,
For lunch I am with family and friends.
After studying a bit I watch a film.

When I go back home,
And with my beautiful pyjamas on,
I think about tomorrow, Monday!!!
Oh, no, school again.
