LITERACY

You can have a look at some of the activities our students have carried out or you can relax reading some poetry or literary excerpts or perhaps you can try some of the quizzes if you like. Why not reading the chronicles of the trip to England as well? Enjoy your visit!

Spanish year 10 students visited the south of England and London for a week, in May 2007, within the first exchange with our twin school Bourne Community College in Southbourne. As well as meeting their British partners, the students attended some lessons at school and shared games and evenings (Paella Night). A year later, in May 2008, a group of students and teachers from Bourne Community College visited us and shared lessons and outdoor activities for some days.

Now, April 2009, we have just come back from our Comenius trip to Southbourne; the students in year 11 have met their virtual partners and have shared a lot of activities and lessons: they have built a windmills farm; they have played bowls, basketball and stool ball; they have climbed, sailed and gone on an orienteering march; they have eaten roastbeef and paella...

You can have a look at some photographs and read their comments on the trips.
